She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Elmer and Ruby Irene Saunders (Mose); her husband Carl W. Turner; her former life partner Henry Theodore Hill, Sr.; her children, Beverly McNabb and Barry Hill; and her brothers, Charles Saunders, Ike Saunders and Leroy Saunders.

She is survived by : her children, Jesse Hill, Sr. (Rhonda), Henry Hill (Norma), Sue Matthews (Danny) and Julie Mason (Terrence Baldwin); and her siblings, Connie Shaffer, Rebecca Slate, Mary Burkley, Jimmy Saunders, John Saunders, Robert Saunders and Timothy Saunders. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
