She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Smith (Jeff) and April Alegre (Nillson); her grandchildren, Keith Smith, Kyle Smith (Naya) and Arabella Alegre; and her siblings, Sarah Mason, Stanley Carpenter and William "Bill" Carpenter, Sr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
