It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Bernice Horst of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Billings, Montana, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius McKinnon and Charlotte McKinnon (Wallen); her daughter Melody Fern Gower; and her siblings, Lester McKinnon, George McKinnon, Glen McKinnon, Donald McKinnon, Violet McKinnon and Lorraine McKinnon.
She is survived by: her husband Frederick L. Horst; her children, Kelly Murray (Francis) of Fairfield, PA and William Gower of Hagerstown; her stepchildren, Kelli Mooers (Steve) of Clear Spring, MD and Scott Horst (Cora) of Gaithersburg, MD; her grandchildren, Danial Murray, Mikaylah Murray, Kalynn Murray, Cameron Horst, Megan Horst and Mackenzie Mooers; and her great grandchild Lucas Reed Helton.
