It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Swope of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard T. Swope and Ethel Louise Swope (Smith); his sister Deborah Jean Swope Trumpower; and his son Jeffrey Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Kay Swope of Smithsburg; his brother Melvin L. Swope (Betty) of Waynesboro, PA; and his children, Kevin S. Swope (Peggy) of Smithsburg, Jeff Swope of Nashville, TN, Mark Swope (Katie Lushbaugh) of Robinwood, Josh Swope of Smithsburg and Melissa D. Swope of Front Royal, VA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Swope's family requests donations be made to the funeral home for expenses.
