She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude J., Sr. and Ethel P. Byers (Martin). She is survived by: her siblings, Claude J. Byers, Jr. (Wanda) of Waynesboro, Ronald E. Byers (Liz) of Mont Alto, Gloria E. Carbaugh of Waynesboro, Jean L. Umbel (Jim) of Littlestown, Dorine M. Spangler (Bill) of Hagerstown and Barbara A. Rexrode (Steve) of South Mountain; and her close friend Joseph Lunny. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
