She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Beard and Frances Beard (Peacher); and her husband Jim Figard. She is survived by: her children, Ryan Pearson (Heather) and Melissa Romero; her grandchildren, Gabriella Mendoza, Rylynn Pearson, Alexis Mendoza, Brayden Pearson, Trinity Pearson and Camden Pearson; her siblings, Holly Garrett, Robin Long and Kermit Beard; and her niece Michelle Stoner.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
