She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudis Preston Turner and Charlotte Marie Scott; her husband Joseph Richard "Dick" Gelwicks; and her siblings, Dixie Kelly, Donna Fischer, Douglas Turner, Ned Wayne Turner and Harry Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Dianne Siler (George, Jr.) of Williamsport, MD, Diana Lynn Rhoton (Steve) of Williamsport, MD and Michael Richard Gelwicks (Kathy) of Hagerstown, MD; her sister Carol Guessford (Gordon) of Hagerstown, MD; her grandchildren, Cari Houser (Curtis), Angela Rhoton, Casey Mowl and Travis Rhoton (Valerie); and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Mitchell, Ricky, Conner, Adalynn and Emma.
