With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Elizabeth Shoop of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on November 7, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence M. Kershner and Martha Ausherman of Hagerstown, MD.; her husband Robert L. Shoop, Sr.; her son Robert L. Shoop, Jr.; and her siblings, Julia Detrow, Rosa Kershner, Fanny Moats, Hazel Whittington, Lloyd and Edgar Kershner.
She is survived by: her children, Martha J. Hetzer, Linda Newton (Ed), Ronald Shoop (Kelly), Michael Shoop (Lori) and David Shoop (Jodi). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, loved by numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
