She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Hurd and Elizabeth A. Hurd; her daughter Elizabeth Anne Elia; and her sister Constance Marie Michael (Erin Michael). She is survived by: her husband Frank Joseph Elia of Leitersburg; her daughter Stephanie Ann Elia (Theodore Cunningham); her niece MIchelle Michael Grove; and her nephew Mark Michael (Karen).
