It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murray Baechtel Reed of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roderick Craig Reed and Frances "Peggy" Ruth Baechtel Reed; and his wife Kathleen Halligan Reed. He is survived by: his children, Eric B. Reed and Emily C. Rash (Hodges); his brothers, Jeffrey C. Reed and Douglass C. Reed; and his grandsons, Quinton H. Reed, Mason C. L. Reed, Thomas H. Rash V and Garrett H. Rash.
