With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Jean Newkirk of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on April 20, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may we find a sense of peace, knowing that the memories we hold dear will continue to shape and inspire us, keeping Nancy Jean's spirit alive in our hearts and actions. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness we show others and the joy we find in the ordinary moments of life.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William G. Shrader, Jr. and Gertrude H. Shrader (Myers); and her husband Jack Angle Newkirk. She is survived by : her son Jack A. Newkirk II (JA); her grandchildren, Jack A. Newkirk, III (Morgan) and Michele Marie Newkirk; and her brother Steven William Shrader (Leila). She is also survived by two nieces; two nephews and numerous cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (24 E Baltimore St, Funkstown, MD 21734).
