She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman M. Griffin and Nina Griffin (Gemmill); and her husband Richard "Dick" Prather, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Eckstine (Jeb), Dr. Richard Prather III (Karen) and James Prather (Terrie); her sister Nancy McDermott; and her pet Suzie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
