She was predeceased by: her parents, George Harrison Shifflett and Lessie Lee Wood Shifflett; her husband Richard Peiffer (Dick); and her siblings, Josie Madalyn Shiflett, Lottie Pearl Tracy, Margie Louise Coleman, George Emest Shiftlett and Leonard Joseph Shiftlett.
She is survived by: her son Richard E. Peiffer (Judy) of Smithsburg; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hanion (Craig Allen) of Alvin, TX and Christopher Peiffer (Jennifer) of Zullinger, PA; her great grandchild Nathan Patrick Hanlon; and her brother Leardie Harrison Shifflett (Martha) of Quincy, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
