It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Patricia Moats of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Maud Lucille Sharon; her son David W. Moore, Jr.; her grandson Gary Lee Shatzer, Jr.; and her sister Sally E. Sharon. She is survived by: her boyfriend James Boyd, II of Hagerstown, MD; her children, Dixie E. Mills of Williamsport, MD and John W. "Tree" Moore (Natalie A. Hoopengardner) of Falling Waters, WV; her grandchildren, Ashley Heflin (C. J.), Cody Moore (Alicia), Lacy Boyer (D. J.), Ryan Kelley (Adrianna) and Shelby Kelley; and her great grandchildren, Maddie, Charlie, Penelope, Kassie, Lylah, Matthew and JoJo.
