Phil Eugene Thompson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phil Eugene Thompson of Hagerstown, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Phil may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Phil touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Osborne and Ruth McNeil Thompson (Head); his wife Gloria Jean Thompson (Myers); and his brothers, Robert Thompson and Osborne Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Powell, Annette Semler and Gregory Thompson. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
