He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph B. Manon and Mildred K. Manon (Knepper); and his sister Jolane F. Manon. He is survived by: his wife Angelene Manon (Faith); his stepsons, Bradley E. LaFollette (Kim Nickerson) and Thomas I. LaFollette (Mary Ann); his stepgrandchildren, Darren, Stephanie LaFollette, Amanda (Kori), Brittany and Bernadette LaFollette; his sister Kay Vermette; and his nephew Robert E. Britt.
A reception was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gene's name to Hospice of Washington County, 1710 Underpass Way, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
