He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd John Michael and Nellie Michael; and his siblings, Andrew J. "Jack" Michael, Boyd J. Michael Jr., Carol Harris and Mary Ogle.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Jeannette Carr; his children, Jessica Claudy (Eric) and Nathan Michael (Kimberly Mead); his grandchildren, Kirsten Claudy (Sammy Santos), Bailey Claudy (Cassidy Watson), Jack Michael and Katelyn Michael; and his siblings, Larry Michael and Donna Powell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
