With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond O. Meinelschmidt (Hagerstown, Maryland), born in Staten Island, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Meinelschmidt and Ivy Meinelschmidt (Oxenham); his sons, Erik and Kirk; and his brother Richard Meinelschmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Karen T. Meinelschmidt; his children, Wendy A. Chapin (Ryan) and Cort F. Meinelschmidt (Chelsea); and his grandchildren, Rizzo, Reggan, Rikker Chapin, Emily and Adrian Meinelschmidt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
