"Elmer" Saunders Sr. and Ruby Irene Saunders (Mose); her siblings, Charles, Leroy, Dwight Saunders, Judy Turner and Mary Burkley; and her siblings-in-law, William Turner, William Wade, Samuel Shaffer, Casey Slate, John Hellane, Tina Saunders, Peg Hellane, Judy Slate and Pam Slate.

She is survived by: her husband Bob Slate; her children, Becca Brown (Rob) and Gary Grove II (Cathy); her stepdaughters, Sharon Slate and Teresa Crawford (Ralph); her grandchildren, Eric Wishard, Cherilyn Koerting (Justin), Tyler Shaw, Sara Grove, Amber Grove and Ruby Brown; her great grandchildren, Talon, Tanor and Tatum Koerting; her siblings, Connie Shaffer, Bobby Saunders (Janet), Jimmy Saunders (Ellen), Johnny Saunders (Nancy) and David Saunders; and her brother-in-law Bud Slate.
