He is survived by: his wife Mary Marie Carter; his children, Richard Eugene Carter (Tammy) and Candice Lea Carter; his brother Ronald Carter; his grandchildren, Chadrick Carter (Brenda), Derrick Carter (Melissa), J. D. Cline, Michael Cline (Latosha), Chelsea Foltz and Nicholas Carter; his great grandchildren, Shaylyn, Aiden, Angel, Sophia, Abby, Addison, David, Vanessa and Hadlee; and his great great grandchild Myla. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
