It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard W. DeVore of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer DeVore and Faye Estelle DeVore (Martz); his son Richie Carl DeVore; and his siblings, Harold Ebersole, Jane Bowman, Lorraine Carder and Ronald DeVore.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Ashley Frenkel; and his great grandchild Riley Frenkel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Boonsboro Cemetery Cemetery (64 S Main St, Boonsboro, MD 21713).
