It is with sadness that the passing of Richard Neil Kemmet of Hagerstown, Maryland is shared. Richard, born on March 30, 1947 in Cumberland, Maryland, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Kemmet and Dorothy Kemmet; and his brother John Kemmet. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Kemmet of Severna Park, MD; his daughter Kristen Kemmet; his son-in-law Ian Winstanley (England) of Warrington; his son Brian Kemmet; his daughter-in-law Caitlin of Severna Park, MD; his granddaughter Charlotte Kemmet of Severna Park, MD; his brother Ed Kemmet of Salisbury, MD; and his nieces and nephews, Megan, Colleen, Jennifer, Amy, Jason and Stephen.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at 760 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.
