He was predeceased by: his father Clifford C. Swain; his wife Patricia A. Swain; his daughter Cristie A. Swain; and his brothers, Maxwell L. Swain and Alfred E. Swain.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry L. Swain, Debra K. Starr (Jess) and Jeffrey S. Swain (Annaliza); his granddaughter Tiffany L. Turner (Geoffrey); and his great grandchildren, McKaela and Jamie.
