He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lowery Cunningham and Anna Kathryn Cunningham (Straley); and his brother Timothy E. Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Cunningham (Coss); his children, Elisabeth E. Cunningham of Philadelphia, PA and John D. Cunningham of Hagerstown; and his brothers, Jerry (Sharon), Jack (Kim), Tom and Fred (Megan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
