He was predeceased by: his parents, John Woodrow Neff, Sr. and Myrtle Alice Neff (Judd); his son Roger Neff II; and his siblings, Alice McNabb, John Neff, Jr., Robert Neff, Sr. and Kenneth Neff.
He is survived by: his significant other Patsy Fiddler; his son Ronald Neff (Lisa); his grandchildren, Phillip Neff (Samantha), Roger Neff III (Brooke), Christina Neff, Ronald Neff II (Jenna), Helen Crothers (Shane), Raymond Neff and Katelin Neff; and his siblings, Mary Jane Horchner, Jacqueline Hoover (John) and David "Eddie" Neff (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Brethren Church (17718 Lappans Rd, Fairplay, MD 21733).
