She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmette L. Slaydon and Evelyn M. Slaydon (Stahl); her husband Frank M. "Buck" Artz; and her son-in-law William E. "Bill" Fisher. She is survived by: her children, Denese A. Fisher, Frank M. Artz, Jr. (Teresa A.), Derek T. Artz (Penny L.) and Ragan S. Artz (Denise A.); and her grandchildren, William Fisher II (Hilary), Kimberly M. Parks, Christina N. Martin, Tracey M. Carr (David), Lisa Artz, Nathan Artz (Katelyn), Derek T. Artz II (Nicole Tritsch), Justin M. Artz, Cody S. Brown, Autumn M. Michanco (Leo) and Bret S. Artz (Bri). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Sally's name to the Friends of the Rural Heritage Museum, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713.
