She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Kirby and Fern Kaetzel Reed; her husband Ronald O. Shirey; and her siblings, Shirley Reed Rucker, Vivian Reed Cochran and Dr. Julian Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn Kirkpatrick (Brian) and Heath Shirey (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Brianne Boyd, Jonathan Kirkpatrick (Fiona), Taylor Kirkpatrick (Morgan), Nicholas Shirey (Haley) and Kassandra Shirey (Jakob Lane); and her great grandchildren, Adley, Tatum, Leighton Kirkpatrick, Oliver, Willow Kirkpatrick, Amelia and Olive Shirey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
