Though Steven may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles T. Shifler and Blanche M. Shifler (Overcash) of Boonsboro, MD.; and his wife Deborah Shifler. He is survived by: his pet Carson; his daughter Amanda Shifler; his granddaughter Shaylynn Beauford of Hagerstown; and his siblings, Michael Shifler (Beth) of Boonsboro and Karin Shifler-Hartman of Boonsboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
