She was predeceased by: her parents, David Zier and Barbara Zier (Allen); her son Kevin Black; her granddaughter Hayden Brooks; her brother David Zier; and her nephew Shawn Zier.
She is survived by: her family Santa; her children, Michael Brooks (Kristi) of Hagerstown, Jennifer Leese (Thom) of Hagerstown and Jason Brooks (Lorah) of Hagerstown; her grandchildren, Nicholas Leese, Cameron Leese, Jordan Leese, Liam Brooks and Lucy Brooks; her brother Daniel Zier (Mary); her nieces, Katie, Angel, Tara and Ashley; her nephew Peter Zier (Joyce); her close friends, Denise of Virginia, Jennifer of Gettysburg and Lynne of Florida; and her pet Nuisance. She is also survived by brother David's son; many extended family.
