He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl E. Paden; his sisters, Patricia Brown and Rebecca Hebb; his children-in-law, Brigitte Lewis and Keith Alexander; and his uncle Alvin.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Lewis; his children, Judith A Alexander, Brian L Lewis (Mindy) and Kathy L Eichelberger; his granddaughter Jennifer E Lewis; his sister Judith Wilhide (Robert); and his brother-in-law Roy Brown. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime family friends.
