He is survived by: his wife Kris; his daughters, Rachel and Megan; his siblings, Pansy Hedrick (Carl) of Cumberland, MD, Nancy Stonebraker of Cumberland, MD and Willard O. Athey III of Rawlings, MD; and his nieces and nephews, Stacey Shockey (Chris) of Lonaconing, MD, Crystal Stonebraker of Wiley Ford, WV, Joshua Blacker (Cheree) of Cornelius, NC, David O. Phillips, Jr. of Oregon and Christopher Athey of Rawlings, MD.. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews as well as great-great niece and nephew.
