He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Walter Churchill and Martha Vivian Hollins (Jackson); and his daughter Lori Ann McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Turner-Hollins; his son Walter Carl Hollins; his stepson Courtney Bamikole Taylor; his sister Edna Marie Hollins; his niece Nina Dionne Hollins; and his grandchildren, Joshua Gower, Whitney Hollins, Nicholas Hollins, Josiah McLaughlin and Je'Hannah McLaughlin. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
