It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Lee Burkett (Hagerstown, Maryland), who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Franklin Durboraw and Armatha Durboraw (Giffin); her husband Clyde Burkett; her sister Wilma Hammond; and her stepgranddaughter Jasmine Rafter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gina M. Edelen (Nathaniel) and Susan C. Smith-Walker; her stepson Brady Burkett (Carol "Trudy"); her siblings, Wanita Durboraw, Wendy Staley and Wayne Durboraw; and her grandchildren, Allen M. Gaines, Jr. of Gregory, A. M, Gaines, Alexis Smith and Zachary Smith.
