It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willabelle Katherine Stottlemyer of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Retha Slade and Ralph Poling; her husband George R. Stottlemyer; and her grandson Dennis Waters. She is survived by: her stepfather James Slade; her children, Larry Hershman (Barbara) of Hagerstown, MD, Ruth Dupuis (Richard) of Newark, DE, Gary Hershman (Lisa) of Rohresville, MD, Glenda Walling (William) of Fairplay, MD, Robert Hershman (Madonna) of Smithsburg and Retha Thomas (late Charles) of Keedysville, MD; and her stepdaughters, Sonya Long, Christine Harris, Wanda Black and Teresa Stottlemyer. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren, and five great-great- grandchildren.
