He is survived by: his wife Lois Fretz Keener; his children, Lara L. Upton (Kevin) of Palmyra, VA, Dr. Brian J. Keener (Brandy) of Lancaster, PA and Rodney L. Dunlap-Keener (Matthew) of Bloomfield, NJ; his siblings, Dr. Dana R. Keener of Elizabethtown, PA, David Frye of Fredericksburg, VA, Ruth K. Martin of Elizabethtown, PA and Lois E. Keener of Denver, CO; and his grandchildren, Olivia L. Keener, Casey J. Upton, Jonah T. Keener, Celia G. Keener and Elijah J. Dunlap-Keener.
