He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Jenny" Shears; his children, Heather Hipsley (Scott), Crystal Smith, Samuel Smith and Steven Smith (Jayme); his grandchildren, Taylor, Joey, Anieya, Lexi, Violet, Cam and Noah; and his sister Debbie Jenkins (Bobby).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ambrose Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Lansdowne (2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd, Halethorpe, MD 21227). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery (11501 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117).
