Everhart, III (Ashley), Brandon Carbary, Katelyn Reinsfelder (Joe), Meghann Biggs (Scott) and Brad Carbary (Anna); his brother George B. Everhart, Jr.; and his former life partner Betty Lou Everhart.

He is survived by : his son John D. Everhart, Jr. (Donna); and his great grandchildren, McKenna, Nicholas, Alanna, Collin, Jackson, Matthew and Harper. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
