It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Scherer of Hampstead, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy "Dot" Scherer (Beaver) and C. Russell Scherer. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his son Brian D. Scherer (Katelyn) of Owings Mills; his stepdaughters, Amber L. Ludwig (Justin) of Manchester and Leia N. Price (Cory Schultz) of Hampstead; his grandchildren, Eli Ludwig, Tanner Schultz and Hattie Price; and his brother Michael Edward Scherer of Middle River.
