He was predeceased by: his father Earl W. Rhoten; and his brother-in-law Warren Harden. He is survived by: his mother Treva Vaughan (Rohrbaugh); his wife Beverly Rhoten (Harden); his daughters, Sheila Wantz (Scott) and Melissa Garey (Eric); his grandchildren, George Brian, Jeff (Sydney), JT, Tyler and Reed; his sisters, Nancy Zartman and Jane Andrews (Joe); his brother-in-law Larry Harden (Dorothy); and his goddaughter Elizabeth Hann. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenmount United Methodist Church (2001 Hanover Pike, Hampstead, MD 21074). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Dennis' honor to the North Carroll Cooperative Parish UMC, the Hampstead Volunteer Fire Department, or the Manchester Volunteer Fire Department.
