She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Nickstadt and Grete Nickstadt (Bruszies); her husband Carl Henry Brawner; and her siblings, Helga Schlosser, Wilhelm Nickstadt and Horst Nickstadt.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Robert Brawner and Ronny Dieter Brawner; and her sister Ingrid Zimmerman. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
