She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rhoten and Emma Rhoten (Martin); her siblings, Donald Rhoten, Kenneth Rhoten, Earl Rhoten, Elizabeth Small and Kathryn Boerner of Virginia; her son-in-law John Edward Serio, Jr.; and her sons, Robert Wayne Carr and Thomas Grason Carr.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon May Serio of Hampstead, MD; her daughter-in-law Caren Ann Carr of Hampstead, MD; and her grandchildren, Gail Green, Heather Snider, Julie Harvey, Pamela Carr, Stacey Guerin, Sandra Reese and Anthony Carr of John Serio, III.. She is also survived by 18 Great Grand Children and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
