She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Tyler and Harriett Tyler Ditchkus; and her brother Clarence "Toby" Tyler. She is survived by: her husband Paul W. Shaffer; her children, Bradley Shaffer (Katy) of Hampstead, Bryan Shaffer of Westminster and Paula Shaffer of Hampstead; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Casey, Nathan, Brooke, Emma and Keith; and her great grandchild Reid.
