She was predeceased by : her parents, Anton Josephson and Dorothy Amesthysia Heffler (Annis); her siblings, Richard Josephson, Henry Annis (Bud), Helen Cox, Lois Johnson and Cecelia Clark; and her son Chuck Smith.

She is survived by : her husband George Robert Smith; and her children, Danny (Jeannette) of Felton, Eddie Smith (Rose) of Newport, Mike Smith (Debbie) of Glen Burnie, Kenny Smith (Michelle) of Severna Park, Steve Smith of Severna Park, Kim Smith of Odenton and Susan Trump (Scott) of Hampstead. She is also survived by her children, she leaves behind many extended family members, including her 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Flowers are welcomed, and the family would like donations to be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
