He is survived by: his mother Judith Hannah (Diehl); his wife Susan Heather Marie Challenger (Heaps); his stepmother Patricia Challenger; his sister Jennifer Challenger; his niece Victoria Challenger-Simmons (Chris); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lilly and Sully; his aunt Joy Unglesbee; his cousins, Amber Reinke, Rodney, Emily and John Pickup of Manchester, England; his parents-in-law, Gary and Patricia Metcalfe; his brother-in-law David Heaps; his nibling Keilani Heaps; his close friends, Eric Hall, Heath Harden, Josh Brevard, Gil Drechsler, Steve Wright, Mike Boyer, Rusty Knoll, Al Luht, Tim Bosley, Ray Lyons, Joe Engel and Fred Koelber; his sons, Blue Dot of Maryland and Mid Atlantic Air; Josh Unglesbee.
