He was predeceased by : his father John Cullison; his son Kent L. Cullison; his grandson Bryan K. Cullison; and his sister Janet Rill. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Cullison (Grote); his son Kevin E. Cullison (Diane M. Cullison); his grandchildren, Marisa J. Cullison and K. Bradly Cullison (Amanda Cullison); his great grandchildren, Karlie Cullison, Shane Cullison, Jesse Cullison and Leila Cullison; and his sister Phyllis Bowman.

In lieu of flowers the family would request a memorial donation in honor of Sonny to Salem United Methodist Church or Bridging Life Hospice.
