In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Melvin Richard had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Melvin Richard may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Charles H. Sprinkle and Walter J. Sprinkle. He is survived by: his wife Mollie K. Sprinkle; his daughter Katherine Elizabeth Murray (Perry L.); and his siblings, Elizabeth Melton, Shirley Pollack (John) and Robert N. Sprinkle.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (934 S Main St, Hampstead, MD 21074). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Hampstead Cemetery (4114 Black Rock Rd, Hampstead, MD 21074).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Church of the Open Door.
