He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nelson Wilford Shunk, Sr. and Marie Violet Hardesty; his wife Mary Ellen Shunk; his children, Nelson W. Shunk, III of Glenville, PA and Helga J. Shunk of Jefferson, PA; his grandchildren, Nelson W. Shunk, IV, Kevin M. Shunk and Nicole Cheney; and his great grandchildren, Star, Junior, Gage, Ryann and Aubrey.
