He was predeceased by: his parents, John Levi Dubs and Elizabeth Mae Dubs; his son Ralph E. Dubs, Jr.; and his brothers, Ivan "Buck" Dubs and Ray Earl Dubs.

He is survived by: his wife Edna Catherine Dubs; his children, Rose Lockard (Jesse), Bobbie Sue Barnhart (Brian) and Sandra Lyn Sumey (Allen); and his brothers, Clarence Dubs and Melvin Dubs.
