He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Joseph Harris and Virginia Paine Harris. He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Macon Harris; his stepchildren, Richard Landes (Denise) and Heather Panagakos (Pete); his daughter Rebecca Harris Miller (Alan); his grandchildren, Alex Panagakos (Lynn Krushinski), Natalie Panagakos (Sean Dodson), Sophie Panagakos, Josiah Landes, Braeden Miller and Noah Miller; his sisters, Ainslee Harris Sadler and Deborah Harris Poole; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Macon and Robert Macon.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the 3rd Floor Great Room, Lorien Assisted Living, Taneytown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of his favorite charities: Friends of Acadia, The Nature Conservancy or WETA public television.
