With sadness, we share the passing of Ronald Emerson Barnes (Hampstead, Maryland). Ronald, born on November 19, 1940, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy Hoffman Barnes; his children, Troy Barnes (Lisa), Shari Nickles (Kyle) and Erik Barnes (Ericka); and his grandchildren, Spencer (Allie), Ethan, Jordan, Kayla, Ben (Anna), Alex (Bailey), Holly (Jacob), Scott, Sophia and Jake.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (934 S Main St, Hampstead, MD 21074). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:15 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Ronald Emerson Barnes to The Gary Sinise Foundation (https://www.garysinisefoundation.org), in honor of Ron's deep respect for our nation's military and the U.S. Constitution.
